Mountain View Colts back on the radio this weekend, sending 3 players to HJHL All Star Game

The Mountain View Colts are gearing up for a 2 game slate in Heritage Junior Hockey League action this weekend.

The Colts are currently 3rd in the Northern Division standings and will head to Sylvan Lake tonight to battle the the 2nd place Wranglers.

On Saturday, the blue and red will return to the Didsbury Memorial Complex to take on the last place Ponoka Stampeders.

Mountain View has won 3 of their last 5 games and are coming off the heels of a 9-1 drubbing of Ponoka in their lone game last weekend.

The Heritage Junior Hockey League released their rosters for the 2025 All Star game earlier this week, with the game coming up on December 6th in Strathmore.

The Colts will send 3 players to the event. Defenceman Blake Stoddard and forwards Joe Krukowski and Tristan Visser will represent Mountain View in the first HJHL All Star game since 2018.

Live coverage of the Colts and Stampeders game on Saturday night can be heard on 96.5 The Ranch, with play by play coverage from Bernd Van’t Klooster beginning at 8:10.
