Cremona FCSS is inviting the community to take part in two creative programs this December, offering residents a chance to connect, learn new skills, and embrace the festive season.
The first event is a Christmas Cake Decorating Workshop, where participants will assemble and design a four-inch cake made to look like a traditional gingerbread house. The class is taught by Ekta Patel of La Savour Patisserie and will be held on Tuesday, December 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cremona Gold and Silver Club. The cost is $60 for those under 55 and $45 for participants 55 and older. No experience is required, and everyone will take home their finished Christmas cake.
FCSS is also hosting its Seniors Monthly Art Class later in the month. The class is led by local artist Debbie McIvor and features a new surprise project each session. All supplies are included, and the program is designed for seniors 55 and older who want to explore art in a relaxed, welcoming setting. This month’s class will take place on Tuesday, December 16th from 2 to 4 p.m., also at the Cremona Gold and Silver Club. The class is free for seniors, but registration is required by emailing [email protected]
Organizers encourage early registration as both programs tend to fill up quickly. Cremona FCSS says the events are a great opportunity for community members to get creative, learn something new, and enjoy time together during the holiday season.
