Birds beat bears: Grizzlys drop to 0-3 after loss to Canmore

The Canmore Eagles soared past the Olds Grizzlys on Tuesday at the Sportsplex.
 
18-year-old defenceman Brody Martin (2007) from Prince George, B.C. netted his first Alberta Junior Hockey League goal on a Grizzlys power play in the second period versus the Eagles. Martin is one of the Alternate Captains this season for Olds. Sam Giangualano (2006) from Calgary and Sean Richards (2006) from Vancouver, B.C. both notched their second goals of the season for Olds. Recently acquired forward Hubert Larose (2007) from Levis, Quebec lit the lamp for the first time as Grizzly to round out the scoring for the home team in a 9-4 loss.
 
Last night’s win was Canmore’s first. The Eagles are 1- 2. 
 
The Grizzlys are now 0-3 this season, they will try again for their first win when they host Bonnyville on Friday at 7pm.
