Chanse Vigen stands tall at the 2025 Battle of the Foothills

The 2025 Battle of the Foothills wrapped up Sunday afternoon in High River, with Chanse Vigen taking home the championship title for a second straight year.

Running from barrel number four in heat nine, Vigen ran a (1:20.51) and edged out the field with support from outriders Rory Gervais and Ethan Motowylo.

The fastest times of the night came from the Luke Tournier outfit and Rae Croteau Jr., who finished in a tie with times of (1:19.99). They were followed by Darcy Flad (1:20.44), show winner Chanse Vigen, and Cruise Bensmiller.

Bensmiller was second quickest on Sunday with a (1:20.56) with Dustin Gorst was third at (1:22.00)

Chad Fike leads the 2025 WPCA season in points with 847, Croteau Jr. is second with 835 and Obrey Motowylo is third with 826.5. 

Next up is the Strathmore Stampede coming up this weekend, live coverage of the WPCA can be heard on 96.5 The Ranch with full coverage getting underway on Friday night.
