Olds Pickleball Club putting Mountain View Power grant to good use

The Olds Pickleball Club was one of 6 local organizations who we’re selected to receive funding from the Mountain View Power Community Grant program this spring, and have recently put that money to work.

The club was awarded $5,500 for the Outdoor Pickleball Enhancement Project.

According to a social media post from the town, with the money the Club has been able to secure sturdy nets for long term enjoyment of the pickleball facility located in Centennial Park.

The nets will be placed in storage during the winter.

The Mountain View Power Community Grant Evaluation Committee selected six local organizations to receive a total of $43,100 in funding earlier this year.
