Despite mother nature, Westerner Days 2025 deemed a success

Despite a few curve balls from mother nature, Westerner Days 2025 is being called a success by Westerner Park.

The event saw thousands gather in Red Deer over the course of 5 days, and included 4 nights of North American Pony Chuckwagon and Chariot Races.

Notable musical guests this year included Sass Jordan and Corb Lund, while the RCMP Musical Ride captivated visitors and other notables like Premier Danielle Smith made appearances as well.

CEO of Westerner Park, Shelley Flint, says in a news release earlier this week that they are  “honoured to host this celebration that brings families, neighbours, businesses, and visitors together. It’s our privilege to create a space where Central Alberta’s spirit truly comes alive.”

No attendance figures were made available in the news release.

Plans are already underway for the 2026 edition of the event, for more information on all things happening at the Westerner visit WesternerPark.ca
