Mavericks increase Central Division lead as regular season winds down

With four games left in the regular season, the Mountain View Mavericks are three points ahead of the Rockyview Silvertips for first place in the RMLL’s Central Division.

The Mavs padded their lead in the division thanks to a pair of Junior B lacrosse wins last weekend which boosted their record to 12-3-and-1.

Mountain View defeated the Mauraders 9-7 in Okotoks thanks to a five point night from Carter Michaluk. He had three goals and two assists in the win.

The Mavs then made it an all winning road trip by topping the Warriors 13-4 in Edmonton. Jace Dolinski scored three times and added three assists as part of a six point performance.

Mountain View returns home for a pair of Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League games this weekend with the Red Deer Rampage visiting the Innisfail Arena on Friday at 8:30pm and then the Calgary Mountaineers will come to Town on Sunday at 2pm.
