Begin your Canada Day celebrations in Bergen with Mountain View County

Mountain View County’s Canada Day festivities get started tomorrow.

The free Canada Day breakfast is taking place on Friday, June 27th from 8 a.m. until 11 at the Bergen Community Hall.

Reeve Angela Aalbers discusses what has now become an annual tradition for the County and the community. She says “we always like to do something very special for Canada Day. Obviously, it is one of the most important days for celebrations in Alberta and we also like to have the opportunity to get our elected officials out there in the public and just give people an opportunity to have great conversation in a very neutral environment and just a relaxed setting, so that everyone feels comfortable.”

Reeve Aalbers says elected officials, administrative staff, your neighbours from Mountain View County, and more will all be in attendance. She says “we try and rotate across the County to different locations so that all of our ratepayers can have easy access and don’t have to travel so far. So this year, we are excited to be in Bergen.”

Everyone is welcome to join in for the free pancake breakfast tomorrow morning at the Bergen Community Hall.
