The Crossfield Farmers Market will be spreading Christmas cheer throughout a handful of different venues this weekend.
Manager Cheryl Shea says it is their biggest market of the year with over 200 vendors – she recommends that you start out at the Collicutt Siding Golf Club and then make your way north. Shea says “free parking, free admission. If you are able to, we have the Crossfield/Madden Food Bank in each venue, very willing to take non-perishable, cash or gift cards. It is their biggest fundraiser of the year as well and people are always very generous when they come in the door.” Also among the venues are the Crossfield Community Centre, Crossfield Elementary School, and WGM School.
There is free admission and free parking and the hours for the Crossfield Xmas Market are 5 until 9pm on Friday, November 6th and 10am until 4 o’clock on Saturday, November 7th. Saturday also includes the Crossfield Playschool presenting the Kids Only Holiday Shoppe from 10-4 at 1120 Mountain Ave. It is for ages 3-10 with all gifts $12 or less and all proceeds supporting the Crossfield Playschool.
