Proceeds from a Pumpkin Drop of Doom will help the female U15A Olds Junior Broncos hockey team carve out some of their budget for tournaments this season.
According to Summer Grover and Caydence Smyth with the Broncos, they will be set up for it with the Olds Fire Department’s ladder truck behind Sim’s Furniture on Saturday, October 31st.
Grover says “it is $10 to drop a supplied pumpkin and $5 to drop your own. Also we will have treats for trick or treaters and you can enter your name for a chance to win a Bauer Mystery Minis stick ”
Smyth says “you can also drop two pucks for $5 and five pucks for $10.”
In unison they let it be known “it’s gonna be a bad day to be a pumpkin!”
Halloween Howl will have trick or treating at the Uptowne Olds businesses from 1 until 4pm.
