Fire Restriction implemented in Mountain View County

High winds over the course of the past couple of weeks combined with already dry conditions have led many municipalities around the province to take notice.

This morning, Mountain View County put a Fire Restriction in place. Among other things, it means that all current fire and firework permits are cancelled, and no new fire or firework permits will be issued until the Fire Restriction is lifted.

It is still okay to cook food using a barbeque and to have fires in acceptable fire pits or acceptable fireplaces.

The Fire Restriction is in place for all of Mountain View County until further notice and full details can be found online at mountainviewcounty.com.
