Mountain View Community Band performing at local market on January 24

The Olds Sweetheart Market is coming up this weekend and in addition to many unique vendors, there will also be the sound of music in the air.

Teena Trick-Wilks with Top Note Music School in Olds, Didsbury and Carstairs is excited for a performance by the Mountain View Community Band. She says “this weekend we are going to be playing at the Cow Palace with the Mountain View Community Band and that ranges in ages from 14-years-old to 85-years-old.”

She adds, their performance will be from 1 until 3pm on Saturday, January 24th. Trick-Wilks says “oh we like to play some fun stuff that people will recognize and stuff that people like to dance to, maybe, as well as some classics.”

Hours for the Olds Sweetheart Market are 10am until 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, January 25th at the Future Ag Event Centre (Cow Palace).
