An investigation which began on August 15th after allegations that an intimate photograph was posted on social media without consent has led to charges being laid by Didsbury RCMP.
A search warrant was executed at the accused’s residence and on her communication device. Another judicial authorization was executed for her social media account. A 43-year-old woman from Clearwater County was subsequently arrested.
She has been released with a court date set for November 17th in Didsbury to answer to charges of publication of intimate images without consent and criminal harassment.
Didsbury RCMP received assistance during the extensive investigation from the Southern Alberta District and Central Alberta District General Investigation Sections, and the Rocky Mountain House RCMP.
