Unofficial results from 2025 Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo

A barrel racer from Saskatchewan has felt right at home in Olds during the past couple of years.

Karlie Cowie from Mankota has now won in back to back years at the Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo. She posted a time of 17.15 seconds to win at the world’s first and only Bavarian rodeo in 2024, and this weekend she was the fastest again with a 17.20 second run.

Other unofficial winners at the Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo included Shane Smith from Wimborne in tie down roping (9.0 seconds), Lucas Macza from High River in saddle bronc (86 points), Chanse Switzer from Hazenmore, Saskatchewan in bull riding (83 points), Jade Nelson from High River in breakaway roping (2.3 seconds), and the tandem of Brett Buss from Ponoka and Joey Romo the second from Nanton in team roping (5.0 seconds).

Daulton Massey from Oregon and Tate Beierbach from Maple Creek, Saskatchewan split first and second place prize money in steer wrestling. They both got the job done in 4 seconds flat.

Prize money collected over the weekend at the Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo counts towards the standings for the 2026 Canadian Pro Rodeo Association season.
