Two weeks left for competitors to qualify for 2025 CFR

The season is nearing the finish line for Canadian Pro Rodeo Association cowboys and cowgirls.

The competitors are trying to stack up enough cash during these next two weekends in order to get into the top 12 on the money list for their respective events and earn a trip to the 2025 Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton in October.

They’re hoping to stuff their wallets by turning in big performances at a trio of CPRA tour stops this week in Alberta. Lethbridge, Nanton, and Okotoks all host pro rodeos this weekend.

Then later on in the final week of August there will be three events in British Columbia with action in Langley, Merritt, and Armstrong.

Meanwhile, the Oldstoberfest Pro Rodeo in Olds counts for the 2026 season and both it and the Hanna Indoor Pro Rodeo are coming up on September 12th and 13th.
