Red Deer Rebels looking for fan votes for quarter century team

The Red Deer Rebels are putting together a Quarter-Century Team, and they want fans to decide who makes the cut.

Voting is now open for the top Rebels players from 2000 to 2025. You can choose 12 forwards, 6 defencemen, and 3 goaltenders from a list of standout names who have suited up for Red Deer over the last 25 years.

Voting closes Monday, August 5th.

Notable players for the Rebels during the “Brent Sutter Era” include Dion Phaneuf, Colin Fraser, Colby Armstrong, Cam Ward and Ryan Nugent Hopkins, along with Jim and Ted Vandemeer of Caroline.

Head to the Rebels’ website to view the full list and cast your vote.

The final Quarter-Century Team will be revealed later this summer.
