Weather forecast forces change of date for MV Pistons, Summer Oldstice

For the first time ever, the Mountain View Pistons have decided to shelf their show and shine for another date due to the inclement weather forecast for June 21st.

Saturday’s festivities for Summer Oldstice in Uptowne Olds had already been postponed by organizers. Those events included the pancake breakfast and the lunch with the Kiwanis Club of Olds.

The postponed 18th annual show and shine and all of the other Summer Oldstice plans will now be shifted to July 12th in the hopes that as we mover towards the so-called tenderloin of summer that the weather will be much more conducive to a street festival for Olds and area residents.
