Eagle Beef & Multi 4-H Club raises over 10K for Hope 4 MVC Kids

The MegaDome in Olds hosted the 63rd annual show and sale for the Eagle Beef & Multi 4-H Club on Thursday, June 5th.

Raelynn Sande had the Grand Champion steer. Sande says “this is my steer Joker. He weighs 1,576 pounds. He is really sweet. I’m so happy that I won Grand Champion. He is a Simmental-cross. He is home grown. So we’ve raised him since he was a little baby.” Her Grand Champion steer was bought by Whitecap Resources.

Jeric Lutz had the Reserve Champion steer.

Emily Wood had the Top Lamb which was purchased by George’s Farm Centre.

The Eagle Beef & Multi 4-H Club was also proud to raise more than $10,000 dollars this year for the Hope 4 Mountain View County Kids Society thanks to the Dutch auction for their donation steer and donation lamb.
