Meet the candidates for Yellowhead on April 16 in Sundre

A meet and greet with the election candidates for the Yellowhead riding is coming up in Sundre.

According to the Sundre and District Chamber of Commerce it will run from 5:30pm until 7:30 next Wednesday, April 16th at the Sundre Community Centre.

The Yellowhead riding includes places including Sundre, Cremona, Caroline, Rocky Mountain House, and Clearwater County.

The list of candidates for each constituency for the upcoming federal election was confirmed on Wednesday by Elections Canada. Running in the Yellowhead riding are Vicky Bayford of the People’s Party of Canada, Michael Fark of the Liberals, Dale Heath of the Christian Heritage Party of Canada, Avni Soma of the New Democratic Party, and William Stevenson of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Election day is April 28th and advanced polling will take place from April 18th through the 21st. More details can be found on the elections.ca website.
