22nd Annual Miracle Treat Day On August 8

Today is Miracle Treat Day!

The net proceeds from every Blizzard treat sold on Thursday, August 8th at Dairy Queen locations in this province will go to Alberta Children’s Hospital, improving the lives of children receiving healthcare treatment.

DQ Canada is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network in 2024 and this is the 22nd year running for Miracle Treat Day at DQ Canada locations.

In 2023, over 1,200 (1,241) Blizzard treats were served up at the DQ in Olds and a donation of more than $6,800 ($6,888.83) dollars was made from it to Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary.

The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation is one of 12 Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Foundations across Canada.

The DQ in Olds will be open until 10pm today as part of Miracle Treat Day.
