The final tally is in from last week’s Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper.
Radio stations across the province, including Vista Radio stations like 96.5 CKFM and ROCK 104.5 in Olds, collected funds to help people impacted by the Jasper wildfires.
Bottle depots also collected donations.
Thanks to donation-matching from the Alberta and Canadian governments a grand total of over $2.9 million dollars was raised.
