Braaten Wins 2024 North American Pony Chuckwagon Championship

Riley Braaten is your overall champion for the chuckwagons at Westerner Days 2024.

All he needed was a clean heat on Championship Sunday, and Archerwill, Saskatchewan’s Riley Braaten did just that to take home the 2024 North American Pony Chuckwagon championship.

After a penalty to Linda Shippelt-Hubl, Braaten took the Dash For Cash with the fastest time of the day, 76.06 seconds.

In the overall, his total running time of 381.19 was enough to take home the title for the second year in a row, finishing ahead of Marvin Hubl by more than 1.5 seconds.

Next up for the APCCA Tour is a stop in Vermillion August 25th to 27th.
