Bowden Daze Is This Weekend

Mother nature looks to be cooperating for the 2024 edition of Bowden Daze this weekend hosted by the Bowden and District Agricultural Society.
3 days of pro rodeo action are set to take place starting tonight with sheep riding and the crowning of the Bowden Daze Rodeo Queen.
The Bowden Ag Society was awarded the “Small Rodeo of the Year Award” by Pro Rodeo Canada for their work during the 2023 edition of the event.
Canadian Professional Rodeo Association action gets started tonight at 6:30, followed by a Saturday night performance at 6 and the championship rodeo goes Sunday afternoon at 12:30.
In addition to the rodeo, the Town will be holding a pancake breakfast at the Bowden Igloo on Saturday morning, followed by a parade and a barbeque hosted by Fortis.
