Red Deer RCMP have arrested two individuals in relation to the execution of a search warrant on July 3rd.
RCMP Crime Reduction Team, with assistance from Red Deer RCMP General Investigation Section, Police Dog Services and Wetaskiwin RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the South Hill area of Red Deer, resulting in a significant seizure of items related to criminal activity.
The operation led to the recovery of a significant quantity of cannabis products, firearms, ammunition, body armor and a collection of valuable hockey card collectibles.
As a result, Red Deer RCMP have charged two 38 year old residents of Red Deer with multiple offences including Trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5000 and Possession of weapon obtain by crime.
Both were taken before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody with court dates set for later this month at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.
