Mountain View Mavericks Look To Keep Climbing Standings

The Mountain View Mavericks will look to keep climbing the standings this weekend, with 2 games scheduled as part of Rocky Mountain Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League action.

The Mavs have won 5 of their last 6 games and are 2nd in the Central Division with 21 points and a record of 10-5-1.

Mountain View is just 3 points back of the 1st place Rockyview Silvertips, while 5 points up on the 3rd place Red Deer Rampage.

The Mav’s will entertain the Rampage tonight at the Innisfail Twin Arena, one week after besting their rivals 8-7 in Red Deer.

Mountain View is (2-1) against Red Deer this season.

On Sunday, the team will travel to Calgary to take on the Chill, who are last in the central division.

The top seed from each RMLL division are awarded a bye for the first round of the playoffs, while the 2nd seed would have home floor advantage in a series against the respective 3 seed.

The Mountain View Mavericks host the Red Deer Rampage tonight at 8 at the Innisfail Twin Arena.
