Didsbury RCMP Attend Scene Of Vehicle Fire

Didsbury RCMP attended the scene of a vehicle fire this week.

It happened just before noon on Friday, June 21st.

Mounties were called to a report of a semi tractor trailer unit on fire on the Queen Elizabeth II Highway. The incident occurred near Township Road 294 near the Town of Didsbury.

According to police, “the driver of the semi was able to detach his load however the tractor unit was a complete loss.”

No injuries were reported.

The fire departments from Carstairs and Crossfield arrived and extinguished the blaze.

No further information was provided regarding the cause of the fire.
