Mountain View Mavericks Riding A 3 Game Winning Streak

The Mountain View Mavericks have won 3 games in a row and now have a 3 point cushion for home floor advantage in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League playoffs.

The Mavericks picked up wins against the Winnipeg Blizzard and Beaumont Junior Outlaws this past past weekend.

The wins boost Mountain View’s record to 8-4-1, with 17 points they sit 2nd in the Central Division and 3 points up on the Red Deer Rampage.

The top team in each RMLL division will get a bye in the first round, while the 2nd seed would play the 3rd seed.

The Mav’s were once again led by Luke Hildebrandt, who picked up 6 goals against the Blizz on Saturday, before adding another 8 against the Junior Outlaws.

Hildebrandt now has 28 goals and 40 points in just 8 games played this season, he’s 5th in league scoring.

The Mavericks will now turn their attention to the Regina Queen City Kings who come to Innisfail on Saturday night, before traveling to Edmonton to take on the Warriors on Sunday.
