Spectacular Saddle Bronc Rides Among Night One Highlights At The Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo

The saddle bronc competition on night one of the Daines Ranch Pro Rodeo did not disappoint.

As heard on 96.5 CKFM, the first full performance of the weekend took place on Friday, June 14th and it saw both Lucas Macza from High River and Kole Ashbacher from Arrowwood record outstanding 87 and a half point rides.

Kyle Daines, President of the Association, says they have about 50 bronc riders signed up for this year’s event and they are vying for a total cash payout of $7,000 dollars.

Other highlights from Friday at the Daines Ranch included Stettler’s Beau Cooper taking the lead in tie down roping with a quick 7.6 second effort, and the Wainwright duo of Dillon and Dawson Graham leads the way team roping after getting the job done in 4.3 seconds.

More Pro Rodeo action is coming up just north of Innisfail this evening (June 15th) at 7 o’clock.

It all wraps up with the Championship Sunday performance at 2pm tomorrow (June 16th) at the Daines Ranch.
