Summer Oldstice Coming Up On June 15

Summer Oldstice is coming up this week.
It all takes place on Saturday from 8am until 2pm in Uptowne Olds.
Michelle Imbery, Secretary with Uptowne Olds, highlights the fact that there will be many fun activities, sidewalk sales, and they will have great food options. She says “We are hosting an ultimate pancake breakfast by donation at the corner of 50th Street and 50th Avenue from 8am until 10am and then the Kiwanis will be hosting a BBQ in the same location from 11am until 2pm.”
Mayfair Cinema will feature the Cars movie at 1pm on Saturday, June 15th.
She notes there is a scavenger hunt as well.

The Walk A Mile In Her Shoes fundraiser for ‘Kirsten’s Place’ – the first Mountain View Emergency Shelter Society building in Olds – will start with registration at 10am on Saturday at Cam Clark Ford.

Imbery says to check out more details about this Saturday’s Summer Oldstice by visiting the Uptowne Olds website or Facebook page.
