GNP Planning On Holding Another Live Fundraising Auction Again Next Year

The first live fundraising auction for Greenwood Neighbourhood Place was held last Saturday at the Sundre Legion.

Donny Krahn, Executive Director of GNP, says they were able to raise just over $13,000 dollars through the auction itself and another $900 in donations received that evening, so the total was more than $14,000 dollars for the night.

According to Krahn, the live fundraising auction was such a great experience and opportunity to share what GNP is doing that they are definitely going to do it again next year.

She thanks Dwight Boychuk for donating the auctioneering services along with the tireless board of GNP that put in hours, and hours to make this event a success. She says “Again, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who provided auction items and to those who came out and had a great time bidding. We could not do what we do without you.”
