Eagle Beef & Multi 4-H Club Supporting “Kirsten’s Place” During 64th Annual Achievement Day

The 64th annual Eagle Beef & Multi 4-H Club’s Achievement Day is coming up on Thursday, June 6th at the Olds Regional Exhibition.

11 year old Lexi Sande with the Club notes that this year it is very important for their members to give back to the community.

She says their members have worked hard this year to raise a steer named Bert and a lamb named Ernie to generate raffle proceeds.

The raffle proceeds from Bert and Ernie will be used to support the building of “Kristen’s Place” – the new Mountain View Emergency Shelter in Olds.

Everyone will have a chance to win them when they hold a Dutch auction before their Eagle Beef and 4-H Multi-Club sale this Thursday at 7pm at ORE and every $10 dollars will get your name in the draw.

Their 64th annual Achievement Day will also include the sheep show at 9am on Thursday, the beef show at 11:30am, and supper at 5:30pm.
