Colts trampling the competition heading into final week of regular season

The Mountain View Colts remain unbeaten in 2026.

Their winning streak is up to 8 games following an 8-1 victory in Ponoka over the Stampeders on Friday, January 23rd and the Colts then beat the Wranglers 4-2 on Saturday, January 24th in Sylvan Lake. The last loss for the boys in blue was back on December 13th when they fell 3-1 to the Vipers in Red Deer.

Mountain View is third in the North Division with 3 games left in the regular season. The Colts (24-9-0) are 4 points back of the league and division leading Red Deer Vipers (25-7-2) and 3 points behind the second place Wranglers (24-7-3).

Next up for the Colts is their last home date before the playoffs when they host Strathmore (21-11-2) for the annual Ride for Dad charity game on Friday, January 30th. 96.5 The Ranch will have live play-by-play coverage of that one from the Didsbury Memorial Complex at 8:15pm. The 2025-2026 regular season finishes up with Mountain View at Coaldale on January 31st and at Medicine Hat on February 1st.
