Police seized nearly a quarter million dollars worth of various drugs and three loaded firearms this month from a handful of suspected Calgary-based drug traffickers.
Didsbury RCMP were among the partner agencies to assist the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams in the months-long investigation which also yielded about $47,000 in cash. Two Calgary addresses and four vehicles linked to the suspects were searched.
Two men from Calgary – a 26-year-old and a 27-year-old – along with a 28-year-old from Carstairs are facing drug-related charges and various firearms offences.
