Didsbury celebrates Country Christmas this weekend

Didsbury is lighting up the season with Country Christmas, a two-day celebration packed with small-town charm and festive fun.

Today, from 5 to 9 PM, families can enjoy horse and wagon rides, a cozy mini Christmas market at the Elks Hall, and free hot dogs and hamburgers along 20th Street.

Santa will be waiting at the Library for photos and wish lists, while the Train Station opens its doors for ornament-making and storytelling. The Creative People House Holiday Collection, an art show and sale with every piece under $100, will run both today and tomorrow.

Tomorrow, the fun continues all day long. The Didsbury Memorial Complex is offering a free swim and free skate, the Christmas Auction takes place at Zion Church, and the Train Station festivities carry on with more crafts and stories.

A full rundown of Country Christmas events can be found via the Didsbury Country Christmas Facebook page.
