Indigenous Services at Olds College offering Christmas fry bread tacos celebration on December 5

Bring along a good appetite and share some holiday cheer this month with the Indigenous Services team at Olds College.

They open their doors on the first Friday of every month for soup and bannock, or perhaps a special menu item.

Nicola Millions-Hollamby, Manager of Indigenous Services at Olds College, explains what they will be serving up from 11:30 until 1pm on Friday, December 5th. She says “December the 5th we will be doing fry bread tacos, which are very popular on campus. So students, staff and community are all welcome to attend. Just in celebration of Christmas we hope to have our area decorated up a little bit and everybody can come see each other before the students write finals and leave for the year.”

She says to get there early because they usually run out of food by about 12:30pm. The LRC Gathering Room is located on the north wall of the Library at Olds College.
