The Angel Tag program is up and running for another year to help put packages under the Christmas tree for local children.
Claire Rosehill, Board Member with the Olds Christmas Angels Society, points out that they started it because people were looking to get more specific gift ideas for kids. She says “essentially we hand out to lots of local businesses around Town who have their own Christmas trees and on the front of the tag you will find the gender of a child and their age and on the back some of their items that they are asking for, for Christmas.”
Rosehill says last year they delivered over 100 Christmas hampers and helped make the holiday a little brighter for about 350 children. Delivery day this year will be December 19th.
