Ag Smart 2025 promising a look into the future of agriculture

An annual gathering of agriculture and technology is scheduled for next week, as Ag Smart 2025 runs from July 29th through 31st at Olds College.

AgSmart is a educational expo that brings together producers and industry leaders to explore data and technology-driven solutions in agriculture.

Tracy Gardner is Show Manager of Ag Smart, she says one of the big changes this year is the venue.

“We’re just so excited to be in the heart of campus at Olds College and facilitating a lot of our programing in the Werklund Agriculture and Technology Centre as well as the alumni centre and of course we still have the outstanding crop plots and demos out in the field where the parking is. So lots of the same traditional programing and sharing of educational content but we’ve switched up the venue a little bit and of course bringing you some really amazing speakers.”

Expect demonstrations, learning and networking along with finding out some of the new technologies that impact many different sectors of agriculture during the event.

Gardner adds that also new this year is the addition of day 3, being dubbed as Crop Science Day.

“know that Crop Science Day on day 3, which is July 31st, is complimentary and we’d love to see you there at the hands on space.”

There will be limited exhibitors and speakers on the final day, as the focus shifts entirely to practical, on-the-ground learning.
