A man was killed and two others were injured in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 12 this week.
Mounties say it is early in the investigation but “initial findings suggest that a truck driving eastbound on Highway 12 veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a SUV.”
It happened on Wednesday (June 11th) west of Castor, between Castor and Township Road 380.
EMS pronounced the driver of the sport utility vehicle, a 79-year-old male Red Deer resident, deceased on scene.
Both his female passenger and the male driver of the truck suffered serious injuries and were transported to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance, according to Coronation RCMP.
Condolences are being passed along by Alberta RCMP to the family and friends of the deceased.
