The Mountain View Mavericks are idle this weekend, after stringing together consecutive victories to improve their record to 4-1-1 after the opening 6 games of play in the Rocky Mountain Junior B Tier 1 Lacrosse League.

The Mavericks began the season 0-1-1 after the opening weekend of play, but have since won 4 straight games including 3 on their home floor at the Innisfail Twin Arena.

The Mav’s defeated the Red Deer Rampage and Okotoks Marauders over the Mother’s Day weekend to improve to 3-1 at home.

Mountain View is 2nd in the Central Division standings with 9 points, 3 points back of the 1st place Rockyview Silvertips who are undefeated at 6-0.

The Mavs are now idle until May 25th, when they travel to Calgary to battle the undefeated Calgary Shamrocks.
