Mountain View Mavericks Training Camp Drawing To A Close

The Mountain View Mavericks are getting ready for a new Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League Junior B Tier 1 season.

The team has been hard at work both on and off the floor for weeks, as they get ready for their season opener on Saturday April 27th against the Crude Lacrosse Club in St Albert.

President and General Manager of the Mavs, Brad Bouchard, says things are shaping up nicely for the season with most of the roster now set and some veterans still expected to rejoin the team after their respective winter seasons.

The Mavericks finished with 8 wins through 20 games last season, missing out on the 2023 post season.

Bouchard confirmed that last year’s staff are back with the organization for 2024, including Head Coach Trey Christensen.

Bouchard says the core of his roster is ready to take a big step forward this season, and expectations are high.

The Mountain View Mavericks will play their home games at the Innisfail Twin Arena, on the blue surface.

The Mavs home schedule begins on April 28th, when they welcome the Rockyview Silvertips.
