Town of Olds Updates Winter Road Maintenance Policy

The Town of Olds has recently made updates to it’s winter road maintenance policy, now in full effect after the weekend blizzard.

David Rempfer, Public Works Supervisor for the Town of Olds, says the changes are meant to make snow removal move efficient.

Emergency routes, main collectors and school routes take priority, while removal on Purple and Red routes could start as early as 2:00 AM. Snow removal on all other routes will begin as early as 7:00 AM.

The Town will regularly update residents of snow removal throughout the winter months.

An interactive snow removal map is available to view on the Town of Olds website.

Rempfer says that you can level questions and concerns on the website as well.
