Apply no later than October 31 to be part of 2024 Dragons’ Den

The Rotary Club of Olds is still looking for a few more applications for the second edition of its Dragons’ Den event.
President Steve Turner notes it is designed to bring attention to local organizations and their funding needs. He says “we are looking to give away approximately $14,000. We’re going to be handing it out to people who have a project or a need that they would be interested in getting some funds for – between $5 and $1,500. We’re focusing in on our seven areas of focus and those are visible on the application form and on our website.”
He points out that the application deadline is coming up later this week on Thursday, October 31st and you can visit the Rotary Club of Olds website to apply for their Dragons Den event. Turner says “so we’ve had four or five already and we’re looking for two or three more, certainly. I think that would be great. We will be reviewing those that we receive and then be sending out invitations to the people who we want – who have made the first cut, if you will – to come to Dragons’ Den.”
The Dragons’ Den event is coming up on November 14th at the Air Cadet Hall in Olds.
