Olds College Announces 2024 Partner Of The Year On Opening Day Of AgSmart

The agenda for Day 1 of AgSmart on Tuesday also included the announcement of Olds College of Agriculture & Technology’s 2024 Partner of the Year.

The prestigious award recognizes outstanding contributions to the college and the agriculture industry.

This year’s Partner of the Year for Olds College is RME, formerly known as Rocky Mountain Equipment.

According to a media release, RME “has demonstrated exceptional commitment to supporting Olds College’s mission of education and inspiring future leaders in agriculture and technology. Through their partnership, RME has made significant contributions in that they reliably provide equipment for students who are provided with the opportunity to be hands-on with the latest machinery and technology in the agriculture industry. The research side of Olds College also benefits by having access to this equipment, making the work of the farm staff and researchers more manageable as they work the 3,000 acres that make up the Olds College Smart Farm.”
