Colts remain lone unbeaten team so far in HJHL

Much like their neighbours down the road – the Olds Grizzlys, the Mountain View Colts are also in first place overall in their league.

The Colts have come out of the chutes 4-0 to begin the Heritage Junior Hockey League campaign and they are the lone unbeaten team remaining after the first two weeks of the season.

They won their home opener 9-2 on Friday in Didsbury over Rimbey with Innisfail’s Lucas Billings (2006) potting a hat trick and adding one assist as well.

Mountain View blanked the Wheatland Kings 4 to nothing on Saturday in Strathmore thanks to a 22 save performance in net from William Stiengart (2007) from Carstairs.

There is more Olds Fertilizer and Agri Services Mountain View Colts hockey coming up on 96.5 The Ranch this Friday at 8:15pm when Sylvan Lake visits the Didsbury Memorial Complex.
