ABP AGM coming to Calgary in March

The main decision making forum for the year ahead is just around the corner for Alberta Beef Producers.

Their annual general meeting is at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Calgary on March 3rd.

ABP’s General Manager Brad Dubeau points out that they will also be giving producers the chance to share their views on an important topic without limiting time during the formal AGM agenda. Dubeau says “traceability has been a topic that we have addressed throughout the producer meetings, because of that interest we have built in a dedicated session that will take place on March 2nd. Again, that is on March 2nd to allow a focused discussion on this topic.”

Registration for the AGM is available at ABPDaily.com or by calling the Alberta Beef Producers office. He says “so it is important to note that our delegates debate and vote on resolutions that were forwarded through our local producer meetings that took place throughout January and February. Most importantly, we have elections for the board of directors as well as other positions that will be up for election this year.” There is also an online option to participate from home.
