Eagles feast on opponents during final home games before the holidays

The Innisfail Eagles filled up the nets at the Twin Arenas during their final two home games of 2025.

Defenceman Colten Hayes had 4 goals and an assist as the Birds beat the Westlock Warriors (3-8-0-1) 11-2 on Saturday night.

Forward Tyler Berkholtz had a hat trick plus three assists on Sunday afternoon as Innisfail blanked the Tofield Satellites (3-8-0-0) 14 to nothing. Berkholtz led the way offensively for the Eagles with 5 goals and 6 assist for 11 total points in the two wins.

The final game before the holiday break for Innisfail will be this Saturday in Morinville against the Kings. The Eagles (8-2-0-0) are tied for second with Wetaskiwin (8-2-0-0) and Stony Plain (8-3-0-0). Those three teams are all four points back of the first place Camrose Bruins (9-0-0-0) in the nine team league.

The Eagles will kick off the 2026 portion of the North Central Hockey League season on January 10th in Westlock.
