The Olds Grizzlys have acquired defenseman Owen Hutzul from the Grande Prairie Storm in exchange for forward Braeden Veldhuizen.
Hutzul, an Edmonton native, has 1 goal and 5 points in 22 games played with the Storm so far this season. He also has 21 penalty minutes in that time.
Veldhuizen was in his second year with the Grizz, putting up 6 goals and 7 helpers in 17 games played this season.
The black and gold are idle until Saturday night when they kick off a 2 game weekend homestand as they welcome the Lloydminster Bobcats to the Sportsplex.
The Grizzlys are 5th in the Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division with 18 points through 25 games.
