The gigantic Crossfield Christmas Farmers Market is here to close out their 50th anniversary year.
Market Manager Cheryl Shea highlights the fact that Saturday is a big family day. Shea says “we have Santa and live reindeer down at Collicutt Siding Golf Club for photo opportunities and we have the Grinch in W.G. Murdoch School and photos are all between 11 and 3. One-hundred per cent of the proceeds go to community groups. So the market doesn’t take anything back, this is given straight to them.”
She notes that the hours are 5pm until 9 on Friday, November 7th and 10am until 4pm on Saturday, November 8th. Shea says “we would love it if you bring a food bank donation. It is not required. It is free admission, free parking. If you can spare a food bank donation, we have the Crossfield Madden Food Bank in every venue willing to take your donation or a cash/monetary donation if you like.”
