There is a purr-fect opportunity this weekend for community members to be furr-ever friends with the Olds Humane Society.
Fundraiser Coordinator Abbie Cummings points out that on Sunday, November 2nd at 1pm they will be showing the film “The Secret Life of Pets” at the Mayfair Cinema. She says “the doors open at 12:15. It will be a cash donation. We are suggesting a donation of $5 dollars per person or $20 per family. We will have door prizes. All proceeds are going go back to the humane society and ‘Lager’ our very first dog that came through the doors will be there for free puppy kisses.”
Cummings explains what they will do with the money raised. She says “so the proceeds we are hoping will help us feed some of the animals that are already in foster, as well we are hoping to put that money a side to get us a permanent shelter.”
