The annual garage sale for the Cremona Lions Club is on Saturday, November 1st from 9am until 4pm.
The live charity auction is Saturday night at 7 o’clock. It all happens at the Cremona Community Hall.
President Bruce Rumsey highlights the fact that they give about $35,000-$40,000 back to the community annually. He says “we donate to approximately 30 local community charities and we have scholarships for the kids for the high school. We have an emergency fund for people, if they have a house fire or something and they need some money. There is an emergency fund for that. I think we have about 14 different awards at the high school. We support local kids rodeo.”
He adds, if anyone is interested in seeing what they do or joining them you can come out to a meeting. The Cremona Lions Club meet every second Monday of the month at 7pm at the Community Hall in Cremona.
